Egypt – Day Three

We visited the Edfu Temple early this morning (when it was cool) after a horse-drawn carriage ride through the streets of this small city. This temple is one of the better preserved Ancient Egyptian Temples and Mohamed told us some fascinating stories about the times.

We then returned to the boat for a relaxing morning before lunch and then sailed to Kom Ombo where yet another ruined Temple (it was a hospital) was located as well as the Crocodile Museum.

The boat left about 4:00 pm for Aswan, a 50 km journey where we will dock and spend the night. Tea time is 4:00 pm as well and dinner is 7:30 pm.

Once again, the top deck, watching the sun set and the shoreline activities was very enjoyable.
