NCAA Philadelphia

We’ve enjoyed some very pleasant weather here and unfortunately, our North Dakota Fighting Soiux were beat by Minnesota last night on a goal scored with .6 seconds left in the game. Randy arrived here while Dave and I were at Harrah’s and we met near the Liberty Bell and then spent several hours at a nearby tavern patio. The Dallas Stars play St Louis tonight in an important game and we hope to watch it in a local sports bar.

The Stars earned a playoff spot with a 3-0 victory over St Louis. Dave, Randy and I watched the game on my iPad in a billiard bar downtown.

On Saturday we went for breakfast at the South Street Diner and after walking downtown we boarded the subway and met the guys at XFinity (beside the Wells Fargo Hockey Arena) where we ate and watched the Penguins play the Flyers on the big screen.

The NCAA championship game was very exciting and Union won over Minnesota 7-4 in a jamb-packed hockey arena.
