There just isn’t anything better than a quiet Christmas season at home with family and friends. Although its been a challenge for me to watch my waistline and my consumption of adult beverages given the numerous Christmas Parties and sporting events I’m proud to say that I’m doing very well keeping things in moderation.
Besides the great food and good movies (we went to the premiere of War Horse) we played Monopoly with the kids and that game lasted two days.
Keith and Sonya spent Christmas with us so we had to entertain five dogs over the weekend. It’s good that they all got along. We closed on our church loan and we held our Sunday School Christmas Party at our home.
The Christmas Eve Church service was awesome and featured our new organ. The choir was outstanding and John’s sermon about angels was an inspiration.
